Challenge

HR teams were manually preparing and sending birthday wishes, work anniversary greetings, holiday notifications, and event announcements — a time-consuming process prone to missed dates .

Solution

Built a Python-based automation system that connects to employee data sources, generates personalised email content through reusable HTML templates, and runs on scheduled Cron Jobs to deliver timely, consistent communications without manual intervention. Key deliverables included automated birthday and work anniversary greetings, organisation-wide holiday and event notifications, dynamic email generation using reusable HTML templates, scheduled execution with Cron Jobs, and logging and error-handling to monitor email status and failures.

Business Impact

By removing manual effort from routine HR communications, the automation freed the HR team to focus on higher-value work, ensured no employee milestone or organisational announcement was ever missed, and delivered a more consistent, professional communication experience that strengthened employee engagement.

Challenge

Growing organisations struggled to manage their workforce efficiently — juggling employee records, attendance tracking, leave approvals, project allocations, asset management, and client accounts across disconnected spreadsheets and manual processes. HR teams and managers were spending excessive time on administrative tasks, leading to data inconsistencies, delayed approvals, and poor visibility into organisational operations.

Solution

Built Aruvi HRMS — a comprehensive, web-based Human Resource Management System that centralises all HR, project, finance, and asset operations into a single platform, with role-based access for employees, HR managers, and administrators, real-time dashboards, automated workflows, and structured data management backed by a MySQL database. The platform covers employee and attendance management, leave/WFH/permission workflows, timesheet and OT tracking, recruitment pipeline, project and client management, an accounts module (estimates, POs, invoices, GST, TDS), asset management, announcements and notifications, role-based access control, and centralised master configuration.

Business Impact

Aruvi HRMS gave the organisation a single, reliable source of truth for its workforce and operations, replacing scattered spreadsheets with structured, auditable workflows. This significantly cut manual administrative effort, sped up approvals, improved data accuracy, and gave leadership far greater visibility into projects, resources, and finances.

Oracle EBS Environment Recovery Through Profile Option

Challenge

During an Oracle EBS migration activity, an incorrect FNDLOAD LDT deployment resulted in standard system profile options being migrated to the target instance. Since these profile options controlled critical application configurations such as Login URL and application directory paths, the environment became inaccessible after deployment.

Solution

The issue was analysed in collaboration with the DBA team, and an Oracle standard concurrent program was executed to restore the majority of the default system profile options. A detailed comparison of profile option values between the affected environment and a healthy reference instance was then performed to identify the remaining inconsistencies, revealing that a few critical profile options were still referencing incorrect application paths and URLs. These configuration differences were documented, validated, and shared with the client infrastructure team for manual correction, after which the Oracle EBS instance was successfully restored and validated.

Business Impact
  • Restored a critical Oracle EBS environment with minimal downtime
  • Prevented further deployment issues by identifying the root cause of incorrect profile option migration
  • Improved deployment validation practices for FNDLOAD migrations involving system profile options
  • Enhanced collaboration between Development, DBA, and Client Infrastructure teams during production support activities
  • Strengthened understanding of Oracle EBS system profile dependencies and environment management best practices

Oracle OAF Development Under Infrastructure Constraints
Banking Client
Zero infra changes needed No post-go-live issues

Challenge

A banking client required a custom Oracle Application Framework (OAF) solution to manage Chart of Accounts (COA) Segment Value Creation with a multi-level approval workflow, including 5–6 custom OAF pages, role-based access, Oracle Workflow integration, and a full audit trail. Due to the bank's strict security policies, developers were not permitted to install or configure essential Oracle development tools such as JDeveloper and Oracle Reports Builder on the client's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), making it impossible to develop OAF components directly in the client's environment. A conventional fix — creating a new custom application top in the internal development instance to match the client's custom top — would have required multiple approvals and DBA intervention, adding lead time to a project already under business escalation.

Solution

Instead of waiting for infrastructure approvals, the entire Oracle OAF application — including COA segment value management, a multi-level approval workflow, and Oracle Workflow integration — was developed in the internal development environment using the existing custom application top. A proof of concept was first created by developing a sample OAF page. After successful development, all Oracle OAF artifacts — page XML files, controller classes, Application Modules, View Objects, Entity Objects, Java package structure, XML references, configuration files, and workflow-related components — were carefully refactored to match the client's custom application structure, then compiled, migrated, and deployed into the client's Oracle EBS instance. The POC was validated without requiring any infrastructure changes, and the same approach was then adopted for the complete solution, including all custom pages, workflow processes, and supporting components.

Business Impact

By adopting an innovative deployment strategy, the project was delivered within the revised timeline despite significant infrastructure limitations. The solution avoided weeks of approval delays, ensured uninterrupted development, and provided the client with a stable Oracle OAF application that is now running successfully in production.
